We went to visit Anna a little bit earlier today and met a new nurse. She was really nice and it was actually really funny, she was so blunt about things. Apparently Anna takes after Daddy with big big boogies and poopies. :) But you didn't hear that from me.
Anyways, she is down to 985 grams which was a loss of 17 grams from last night (just when she gets her big certificate too!). So they will wait with c-pap until she starts to gain again because it will take her more energy to gain weight if she has to breathe on her own so it might be a bit too much for her to handle. But they still think probably sometime early this week.
They also ran some blood work on her to make sure her hemoglobin was good (in preparation for c-pap) and it looks like she is a bit anemic at this point. Just a bit on the low end of normal so nothing too concerning at this point. If it gets a bit too low then they might end up giving her a blood transfusion.
But again, these are just minor minor things in comparison to the grand scheme of things. She is doing really well over all and we are lucky that she doesn't have any major set backs at this point. Lets hope it stays that way.
Her feeds are up to 13.5mls per every 2 hours and again, they are double fortified with extra calories in hopes that she will start gaining soon. With her big poos, I'm not sure she'll be gaining anything anytime soon :)
Here's a little video of her from today squirming around her incubator...

I think my favourite thing is her little bendy finger. That will be a great party trick one day :) You'll watch this video with her one day and she'll say "Look I can still do it!"
